The Roundtable of the interaction of the public and military was held in crisis media center "Seversky Donets."
Members of the public, military commandant's office, Supreme Court, Security Service came together to participate in the round table "Reducing of social tensions in the region through public cultural, educational and sporting events."Participants discussed proposed public initiatives and approved a plan of action by 31 May 2015. Active interaction with the military community has started Active interaction with the military community has started According the plan, during March and April, the military will take part in the action "Help grandmother." Single pensioners always need help, so, soldiers in their spare time, will help them on the farm: preparing wood, repairing fences. Also, from single pensioners were received applications for planting potatoes. These issues will also be discussed, but now there are no the exact dates, because of the going fighting.
For March and April were scheduled three working days with students, military and activists of the town. Plan of the future work: to make a kilter at the restored bridge that was blown by separatists in the summer of 2014, preparatory work in the green zone to create a park in a memory of the liberators of the city.
In April and May will be held two sports tournaments in football and volleyball. Teams will consist of military and students of vocational educational institutions.
With the onset of heat visiting movie will start its work, soldiers will be able to relax a bit and watch interesting films.
During the roundtable, were written proposals for booklet, which contain main phones of services of the town. Booklets are necessary to inform the public about the work of military establishments in the city and on the territory controlled by the Ukrainian authorities. They will timetable information and phones of the recruitment office, military prosecutors, MES, hospitals.
Events will take place within the social project "Military and town." The project aim is to reduce social tension in the region through public cultural, educational and sporting events. The project is implemented by NGO "Center of creative technologies of Severodonetsk" with the support of International Fund "Renaissance".
